Hotpoint tc71 condenser tumble dryer - thermostat has gone twice?

The thermostat on my TC71 tumble dryer had gone, so I replaced them, however after working for two more cycles, they went again - the filter and condensor are clear and the machine was not overloaded - any ideas?
