Please can anyone provide any info, I believe it is probably the belt is this possible the dryer still spins and dries but squeals like crazy, is there anything else that could cause such annoying loud squealing?

I'm just trying to cure the same problem with my sv23-001. My rear bearing has seized solid. Unfortunately the thing has been running so much that the rear shaft has worn down so that now my new rear bearing won't fit (it's too loose!). I hope this hasn't happened with yours - I'm now trying to source a new shaft and they have to be welded to the rear plate of the drum.
