Two of my PIR's have started to generate a 2 tone bleep from my control panel, similar to entering a shop which alerts the owner. This happens each time I cross the beam of light.
Thanks to Brad and Acorn. I eventually sussed this out from the maual. It was the chime, my good lady owned up to making a mistake when setting the alarm earlier in the day.

you dont say what make of alarm ,someone has put the chime on.come back on with the make and iwill try to tell you how to swich the chime off

Someone has turned on the 'chime' facility to this circuit while 'playing' with the keypad. Look at your manual.
