These caps blow often, especially if the machine has power left on all the time. If you are a little worried you can try to switch it on without the supressor, unclip the feed to the device and feed it straight into the mahine! After all it is only there to filter out noise and spikes, if it powers up then fine, switch off and get a replacement supressor. At least you know it's going to work!!
