Waverunner yamaha 1997 gp760v?

The gas gauge only will show 1/4 full and the warning buzzer and light go off, the tank is full.

There is a rod that goes into the tank with 3 floats on it. bottom float for 1/4 tank, middle float for half tank, top float for 3/4 tank. Your floats are probable stuck, especially if it has been sitting up without use.
