This answer will be too late for Gemma, but others may come across this thread.
For the earlier series of 206 (1999-2002) this guide is helpful (it includes the 2002+ models too). The list seems to match with what is in my manual (1999-2000).

Cigarette lighter is #23 (the guide says #22, but this is a miscount, it is the 20amp)
Seems simple enough, until you try to count them, because the numbering is right to left, and broken in places.
So going to the image 'Passenger compartment, type 1', the numbering is:
Top row: 12-6 (noting that the HS that straddles row 1 & 2 is not numbered, no idea what it is for), then 5-1.
Row 2: Two unnumbered (15 & 20amp), 24 straddles rows 2&3, and #23 (cigarette lighter) could either straddle rows 2&3, or be in row 3 (mine is the latter). Row two continues with 17-13.
Row 3: 28-25 (24 straddling row 2) 23 either in row 3 or straddling rows 2 &3. Then 22-18. Followed by R3, R2, R1 (the spares)
Row 4: 40-29
There is a row 5 quite separately, with A, B, C then D, E, F. Not listed in the manual.
Printing off the picture and numbering them for future reference is advised!
For those that found the above too complicated, look at rows 2 & 3. It will be the second yellow (20 amp) either in row 3, or straddling rows 2 & 3.
