i have just replaced the shower hose with a new one the water is leaking out of the main unit what should i do

Did you include the rubber washers in the end of the hose? They should have been supplied with it. Its also possible there are some broken bits of the old washer still stuk on the end of the threaded metal bit you screwed the hose onto preventing a proper seal.
