How can I fix my Hoover TV630 Tumble Dryer?

I'm having trouble with our Hoover TV630 Tumble Dryer as it has decided that it won't turn on when you press the on button. If you hold the on button in, the drum moves, but as soon as you release it the machine turns off. Any ideas what this could be?

The relay PCB needs replacement. Disconnect the unit electrically first. You will need to remove the top panel by undoing 3 screws at the back of the machine and sliding the cover off. Next, unscrew the relay PCB (printed circuit board, held by 2 screws), which is a small circuit board located behind the main control panel. Make a careful note of the connection of the PCB. Unplug the electrical cable lugs and fit a new PCB by reversing the above procedure. new PCB available online at around £14 excluding p+p.
