Vantage 35 propelled petrol mower cuts out?

The mower will only run for a couple of seconds after being primed. I've stripped the carb and blown through all holes to ensure there are no blockages. The petrol was bought last year, I don't think there is water in it. How is petrol delivered to the spark chamber? Is there a pump, suction, or is it gravity fed?

The problem is probably your fuel. Gas will go bad after 2-3 months. Smell it and you can smell the stink. If so replace it and add a fuel stabilizer to your fuel. It will clean your carb as you use it and keep it fresh for up to two years. It will also help you on starting. Good Luck By the way it is gravity fed from the tank. And I would suggest you Flush it.
