Where DOES THE 2 FUEL LINES GO FROM THE CARBURETOR?

THERE ARE TWO INLET CONNECTORS ON THE CARBURETOR ON MY CRAFTSMAN CHAINSAW MODEL 358.352162. ONE OF THE FUEL LINES CONTAINING THE FILTER GOES TO ONE OF THEM . Where does the other line come from?

One is the fuel line and the other is the impulse line. The fuel line (with the filter on it) comes from the fuel tank. The impulse line usually attaches to the crankcase of a chainsaw to provide pressure "pulses" that interact with the carburetor diaphragm to draw fuel into the carburetor. In essence, the fuel line is the straw and the impulse line is the sucking action to draw out the fuel

I'm no expert and have no experiance of the chainsaw you have, but usually the only purpose in my experience for fitting the second unfiltered line is to return any excess fuel delivered to the carb by the filtered line back to the fuel tank.
So line one filtered is into the carb.
Second line unfiltered return to tank.
Hope this helps.
