I have a problem with my 2003 Renault Megane. passenger side window was stuck in the open posision.I traced the fault to the so called anti theft mechanism which is attached to the window motor.I then swapped it for the rear passenger one and managed to close the window but it only moves the window 2 inches at a time. what else is causing this problem.please help.

the window only goes up 2 inchs at a time until you have done a full cycle, all the way up and all the way down
