my hotpoint tdc30p will not heat up ive changed the thermostats above heating element checked heating elements (found to be ok) checked stat just inside door also ok but the heat light on front panel is not on can you help please.

Colin, I have the same problem but the "heating" light flickers when i turn the knob. I have also had a slight electrical smell. the only thing i have found is that the heating switch inside the main timer unit can burn out and therefore everthing turns and works etc but the heater is not being turned on by the timer
