Hi Vinny, this is the method I use, others may have other methods, but I find this normally works. Engine cold, remove the cap on the expansion tank,top up to the max level line, start the engine and run it at a high idle speed with the heater selected to full hot, keep running untill the temp reaches normal position on gauge, then let it idle for another 10 min's, this should allow all the air to be "burped" into the expansion tank, stop the engine and re-fit the cap on the tank and run at idle for 10 min's, then switch off and allow to completly cool down, then check the water level and adjust if required (THIS MUST BE DONE WIYH A COLD ENGINE TO AVOID SCALDING YOU!!)
