How do I fix the door handle on a Hoover HNL7126 Washing Machine?

The door handle has snapped on our Hoover HNL7126 washing machine, I have ordered a replacement door handle kit and would like to enquire if anyone has replaced one before and give me some guidance to how to replace it.
