what does a circle with half circle either side and small wave in bottom of full circle indicate with warning light

I think it is a warning light for your brakes, possibly low brake fluid warning light

Sorry dont know what the symbol is, however if it is red then it is a serious warning and should be sorted asap, if it is orange then it is more a general warning and should be looked at when you get a chance, not to say that you can ignore it for weeks just because it is orange. Any other colour and they are just for info.
