1999 rover stalls then stops?

i have a automatic 1999 rover 216IE,when i start the car ,i drive about 100 yards and it stalls and then stops..has anyone got any idea what this could be,,thankyou in advance

Hi is it stalling when you pull up to a stop?
or is it just stalling while driving along?
