Ive had that problem before when i was working on my friends bike. i think it needs some help getting some fuel round the system. i agree with ADAM on this one and it does work a treat :D. if it still doesnt start try using fresh petrol because petrol does go flat.
you may also have wet or bridged (blocked/dirty) spark plug too. try taking it out and looking for dirt build up and give it a clean. if it still wont start, try buying a new one from halfords, take the old one with you to mae sure you get the right heat range. i think they cost about £4 and its also is handy to have a new one aswel. if it still dont start, dont give up just keep kickstarting it. it will start eventualy. goodluck i hope this helps.
