Citroen C5 Air con (2004 model )?

When I start the car the blower for the air con and heater will run for about 3 seconds and then cut out. The fan symbol then fades away on the display.
Is this a fan motor problem or is a resistor cutting in ?

It' most probably a relay which is behind the fascia.My aircon was going completely berserk and the relay replacement has cured all the problems.It' apparently a common fault.
