Oven tripping main fuse?

My Smeg SPA 42016 built in oven keeps tripping the fuse box - does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this - a step by step guide would be a great help

no - it has been installed for ten years and has had a new bottom element in the past and also the interior lights no longer work.
