ford mondeo is the different door to fit a t reg 5 door hatch bach?

hi i just tryed to change the drivers door on my t reg ford mondeo 1.8td hatchback i got the door from a ford salvage tryed to fit it bit there is a different lock on my new one it seems to be about 10 mill higher and the holes are the wrong way round
