Sears, Craftsman-self propelled lawn mower, model #917376051. Is it possible to retrofit this mower with key start? What parts would be required if possible?

What engine is fitted? Some can be retro-fitted, some can't. Best (and probably cheapest) option would be to fit an electric start engine complete with it's wiring. You would have to find a suitable location to mount the battery.

I assume the mower has driven wheels, as opposed to a roller?
