My lawnmower was running perfectly until the other day. I starts when the choke is closed, but cuts out as soon as i move the choke to the half or open position. the only way it will keep running is if i hold the revvs up using the accelerator.
Any ideas welcome.

sounds like you have got dirt in the jets of the carburetor you may be able to blow out the dirt but this will be very hard you may need to take the mower in to be repaired i would also have a filter fitted to the fuel pipe to try and stop the dirt going in hope this helps
