Fix My Ford Escort Headlights (electrical)?

I have an R plate ford escort 1.8si. I have do main lights, the fuse is ok and ive just changed the indicator stalk but still have the same problem?? is there anything else obvious im missing ??

to be honest i havent but i thought the chance of both bulbs going at exactly the same time rare and asumed it must be something else
