Sime 100E boiler - intermittent fault?

Boiler is working ok, heats CH system up, cuts out at set temp. comes back on but at least once a day when it cuts out it will not fire up although pump still works, hence heating goes off & we only notice when rooms get cooler

hi this is a fault on the pc board, if you take out the pc board and inspect it with an eye glass you will see about 15 dry joints ie fine cracks round the soldered peaks of the parts on the pc board you need to look at every soldered peak to find them all, cure by re soldering these joints this will cure the problem, or buy a new replacement board @£78-00,only one screw holds in the pc board and pulls out sideways of the gas relay.any electrical minded person will do it.do not forget to turn the gas and electric off first the screw is down a hole on the front of the blue box cover the job is easy if you are good with a soldering iron.take it slowly and carefully, bobby rob.
