i have a 307 turbo d 51 plate at first the abs would judder when breaking at any speed then abs would cut in and be fine just leaving the light on its all in the passanger side have changed the sensore and bearing followed all the wireing dont now what to do next help

Hello Burch,
I have a 1997 Chevy lumina, my ABS light on the dash comes on after the engine has reached operating temperature which is "Closed Loop" for computer control. The ABS light stays on until I shut off engine--when I restart--the cycle starts all over again.
Also, each time before temp.levels out I have ABS function, works fine!
I decided to live with it like this because all the cars I've owned in the past did not have ABS anyway.

My take on this problem and maybe yours also; If you take it to someone who has a code reader for ABS Systems--they might be able to clear the code causing the problem--some codes are considered "Hard Codes" and unless re-set with diagnostic equipment--will just keep returning.
