it does not do it all the time but most times when i stop in traffic or traffic lights my revs would shoot up to 3000 with out touching the accelerator. i thought it was the idle valve so i went and got a new one fitted but that was not the problem anyone got any ideas what it could be please ?

clean the carbreter and also takehose off the vacum
hose untill there no petro in the fuel the bike will stop line m8 it
sould be by the fuel pipe good luck
