I have a FBI STAR XL4600 which was rewired five year ago whan I did some home renovations. I tested the system recently and the sirens (2) are making a noise but the sound is almost inaudable. I ordered and replaced the siren driver but the sound is still very low. Any ideas what to check next.

Figured it out myself. The two 8 ohm sirens were set up in parallel so when one goes it affects the other. Replaced the bad one and all is good again.
