which oil filter for peugeot 206,1.4,petrol,2004?

which cartridge oil filter insert do i need for a peugeot 206 ,1.4L,petrol engine,2004 ? I understand it depends on the engine type fitted.
J.Allcroft, October 2008
BECAUSE YOUR CAR IS '04 THERE IS VERY LITTLE CHANCE OF IT BEING ''THE LOLLY-POP'' FILTER i.e. MAHLE part no# OX193D. FROM MID 03 ONWARDS CITROEN AND PEUGEOT PETROL CARS USED A ECO-FRIENDLY PAPER ELEMENT OIL FILTER.PART NUMBER OF WHICH IS OX339/2D.

MAHLE(OR KNECHT AS THEY OR SOMTIMES BRANDED) ARE A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT OIL FILTER FOR YOUR CAR AND REACH THE STANDARD TO BE CLASSED AS OE MATCHING QUALITY AS SET OUT IN AN EU DIRECTIVE CALLED BLOCK EXEMPTION(OCT2004). THEREFORE THESE FILTERS WILL NOT INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY

Give you registration number or vin number starting vf3 to any auto parts seller they will be able to give you the correct filter
