How do you dismantle a recliner chair for moving out of a flat?

Elderly neighbours are moving out tomorrow, they have a recliner chair, live in a flat - one floor up - need help to dismantle chair?

How do you dismantle a leather power recliner chair in a wooden tub design, to get into a new flat as its stuck and will not go in?

hey angela you will have to get in from the inisde back of the chair,most recliner chairs have a velcro attached at the bottom of the outside back if not then you will have to get your self an ice pick or something with a point and remove all the staples at the bottom of the outside back part of the chair,once the back fabric is released you will see on the inside some screws that holds the back to the mechanism,you will then need to remove those screws once the screws or remove the chair actually collapses and the back comes apart from the seat.hope i could be of assistance.you can give me a call if you have any problems.6789787321
