Sharp ER-A250 Cash Register Keys?

We have an older model (pre 2001) and are trying to set all the keys to charge zero tax. The only manual we can find online shows a differt keypad for the same model number Any help would be great.

Hi. The easiest way to turn tax off is to remove the link to department (item) buttons.

Turn key to PGM mode.
Type 97
Press X (on some models the X button is called @/FOR)
Press a department (item button)
Press TL/NS (on some models this is called CASH)

Turn the key back to REG mode, and try using that department that you just programmed. It should no longer be taxed. If it works, then do the same programming to all the other departments, and they will all stop using tax.

If this wasn't what you wanted to do, just let me know.
