Dyson DC07 Brush Stopping Clutch Making a noise?

The brush on my DC07 keeps stopping and the clutch making a noise. There is nothing stopping the brush. The belt appears to be slipping as indicated by the rubber marks on the brush casing and the smell of rubber. I would like to know if any one else has had the same problem and how it was resolved. Does the clutch or brush or belt need replacing or does all three of those items need replacing. Thank you
