How hard is it to change the heating element WIDL126S?

Can anyone help please,I think the heating element has gone on my washer dryer indesit WIDL126S. It will wash on a cold wash but if I need a hot wash it fills and then just sits there doing nothing when it should be heating the water. How easy...or difficult is it to replace the element? With little ones in the house I cant be without a machine for too long and like everyone else in the world I dont want to have to pay a fortune if we can do it ourselves.
Thanks in advance for any advice

Hi

I will let you know soon, Im just about to do mine. In the interim try swapping the hot and cold hoses so it fills with hot water and set you hot water system to your normal wash temp ..i.e. 40 or 50 degrees..This should get you out of trouble for the short term.
