ford transit lost power?

ford transit lost power will start but stops every 2 miles and has to be blead to start again now it starts after a jump of other car but will only tick over with peddle to floor can anyone help thanks

Is the fuel filter empty when it cuts out?
Is the butterfly in the inlet opening up? but you should not have to bleed it if this is the fault.
You good crack the nut on top of the fuel filter housing and see if your getting a good flow of fuel out when the engine is cranked over (17mm or 19mm nut)
