how to fit replacement belt on a creda tumble drier?

is there any specail tools needed and is it difficult?

vicki thanks job done easier than i thought it was gonna be... i had saw tools for sale online for fitting the drier belt and just thought "OH SH*T" this will be fun. good to have it going again house was looking like a chinese laundry haha again thanks and am sure your hands work fine x

Hi... I did mine last week may be we can help each other here..
the dyl comes off but remember it has to go back on the same way. there is a screw behind it, you need to undo that and lift off the panel. undo screws on the whole outer part of door panel top and down, this will then lift a small amount so that you can see into the machine. put new belt over the brum( taking old one away first) :) put the slack end between the two arms(do one at a time as there is a spring holding them together ) and around the drive post. Make sure the drum runs both ways before putting the front back on you are then done. I made the mistake of undoing the control panel leads so maybe you can tell me the order that they need to go back on :) mine is a 37382 model...
