Potterton Puma 80e?

We have the above boiler which has a problem. When we turn off the cold tap the boiler tries to ignite but stops due to water being turned off. Any cold tap can be used in the house for the fault to appear.

needs a non return valve cut in on the hot outlet from the boiler
your moveing the flow switch when the hot tap is turned off

Hi Rob

Check there is no air trapped in any pipes to the hot water taps or showers. When you turn a cold water tap off the water pressure flows through the boiler as it compresses the air momenteraly operating the hot water microswitch.
