Hi, I too have lost the manual for the VS2000. ?

How on earth do you change the out going message. have tried loads of buttons and options with no success!

Managed to find the info on a different website, called fixed for free, see below

Press the AM button to enter the answer machine mode the display shows TAD ON.

Press 9 then 1

When you hear a beep speak your message into the handset, when recording the display shows REC OGM1

Press 5 to stop recording. The message will then play back and the display shows PLAY OGM1.

When playback ends you hear a double beep.

Recording time for message is 30 secs.

To listen to your message again press AM then 6 and 1.

Just in case you want to ever restore the original pre recorded message Press AM Press 6 then 1, during playback press 0 an theoriginal message will be restored.

To switch on/off the answering machine press the AM button on the base station master phone, VS2002 or the like, the display shows TAD ON.

Press 8 to select answer Off (TAD ON) or On (TAD ON). If answer off is selected you will hear a double beep and the orange message light on the base will turn off. if answer on is selected you will hear a double beep and the orange light will turn on.

Setting the ring delay for answering. Press the Menu button Press the scroll button up or down until it displays TAD MENU. press OK. Press the scroll button up or doen to display RG DELAY. Press OK. presss the scroll button to select number of reings ( economy will answer after 2 rings if you already have messages or 4 rings if no messages are saved, then you can have from 2 to 7 rings. press OK to confirm. A beep will be heard and display will show RG Delay. To exit menu press and hold Clear button.
