i have recently replaced the window regulator on the drivers window in my renault laguna 2 (02 plate) but now after 2 weeks the window has a mind of its own and will open and close even when the ignition card is removed and the car is parked and locked. i believe that this is an electrical fault and not an installation fault, but can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Strange one as power to the window motor is normally de-activated around a minute after removing the ignition card so def sounds as if its an electrical fault - although a bit fiddly to replace it's pretty hard to go wrong with the electrics during installation!

Where did you source the replacement part from?
