How can I replace the start cord on my Murray Quantum XTE 4.5 lawn mower?

I need to replace the starting cord on my lawn mower. I can not seem to get to the actual place where the pull cord attaches. The access to the pull cord has a housing protecting it which appears to be riveted on. Any suggestions? It is a Murray Quantum XTE 4.5 push lawn mower. Probably about 10 years old.

rivets---just drill heads off and then you will have access to pull cord aparatus, after pulling your hair out replacing pull cord in cord device , simply use SHORTEST length screws possible where rivets had been

i know now how to do it for a briggs § stratton quantum 55 : maybe it helps: remove plastic topcover ( 2 screws) , remove fuel reservoir ( 3 bolts) , remove assembly ( 2 bolts located above sparkplug and 2 bolts located opposite the sparkplug, that is somewhat 10 centimeter below the topsurface of assembly). Remove assembly inclusive oilfill pipe .Turn over the assy to see center screw . removing centerscrew allows to dismantle other parts
