Triton T80si burnt wire on heater can?

T80si has stopped working. The heater can has 4 terminal poles sticking out of the top of it. When viewed in the wall mounted postion the rear right terminal pole has a thick brown wire leading from it. This wire where it connects to the terminal pole is burnt (as if it has shorted out). The MCB on the distribution board did not trip.

The shower is totally dead.

The shower is about 3-4 years old and is a 9.5kw heater can.

Thanks

same has happened to mine, but it is the front blue wire that is burning...

I've found Triton themselves very helpful. Try their fault finding service at http://www.tritonshowers.co.uk/wps/wcm/connect/TritonShowers/Internet/After+Sales+Service/Fault+Diagnosis/Shower+Doctor/
