Piaggio NRG MC3 04, Over heating?

Please help - i think it may be the water pump impeller but i cannot find where the waterpump is located - bike keeps overheating
Mick Flynn, October 2008
The waterpump is actually in between the crankcase halves. On the stator side of the engine, there is a plastic tube. this is the inlet for the water pump. The coolant is pumped from there, directly to the cylinder. The same gear that drives the oil pump also drives the water pump.

If you are looking at your engine from the right hand side (stator side) your water pump is located just to the lower right of the stator, next to the ignition pulser coil.

Hope this helps!
