How do I disassemble a Rowenta DX8800?

After removing the screws from my Rowenta DX8800 iron, how do I disassemble the iron to replace the power cord?

What type of tool do I need to remove the screws!

Joy King, June 2010
Remove the two torx screws from the bottom end of the iron. This is the surface that the hot iron rests on when not in use. Then take a very small flat blade screwdriver and carefully pry the edges around this plastic plate until the plate is removed. This will enable removal of the power cord, etc.
