AEG Competence D81000 ?

Hi, would anyone be able to tell me why this appliance switches off for no apparent reason at random intervals ?
Peter, October 2008
Hi Peter
If it makes you feel any better, ours does it too; normally only the bottom oven, but sometimes both (clock etc stays on). It will either be the oven genuinely going over temperature, or one of the many temperature trips cutting because it is faulty. Afraid its a job for the service engineer but it is likely to be long winded and expensive to find the right cut out. We have virtually given up on the wretched thing and will probably end up replacing it.
