I have just had this problem for the second time with my TDL31 (it does get used every day).
The problem is probably one of the thermostats. You have to take off the back plate to get at them (2 mounted above the heater element)
They each have 2 wires going to them and should measure short circuit with a meter when all is cold.
They can be bought as a pair and are very simple to replace.
NOTE! Please ensure the appliance is unplugged from the mains before removing any covers.
While you are in there make sure you get a vacuum cleaner to clean up the vetilation tube and other areas including the wall vent. Chances are the thing has cut out because this caused overheating.
Hope this helps.
