How can I tell if a fuse has blown on my Indesit IS70C Condenser Dryer?

The heating element on my dryer was found to have broken in two. Having ordered and fitted a new element I find that it is still not heating up. Could the damage to the original heater have caused a fuse to blow/trip and if so where will I find it?

there is no fuse inside this appliance. Thermostats would be the likely culprits.
