Yep, works a treat . . . in fact, this is the second AEG I have had and this seems to be a recurring problem ... 2 tips (1) have something ready to catch the water (2) take a pic of how the pipe goes or you will never get the compartment to close again ! Good luck

We had E20 today, stopped the wash half way through. I emptied the Machine through the small hose at the front and then cleaned out the pump from the filter. took out lots of fluff and limescale plus coins and hair grips. Put it all back together and it works fine.
Thanks for the info I was about to buy a new machine at over £400.

You've probably resolved your problem, but in case anybody else is wondering:
I just removed the pump today from the rear.
2 torx screws (T20 I think) in the rear hold the top.
9 torx screws hold the rear panel.
Next is a bit tricky cause you can't see very well, but the pump (located at the front/bottom if the machine) is held by 3 torx screws (one size smaller than the screws for the top and rear panel).
Loosen the screws and remove the pump, you can disassamble it further by pulling it apart.
Mine was clogged with textile fibres and chunks of lime stone.
I thoroughly cleansed and dried the entire pump and applied moly-lube to the perm-magnet of the rotor before re-assembling the pump.
Got some nicks and scratches, but IMHO it was well worth it considering the money and time saved.

to get easy access is not easy because you have to remove the lid,the fascia control panel, the door gasket and then unscrew the the front panel and then disconnect the door lock wiring .lift the whole front panel away from machine and there is the pump.you can remove them from the back panel but you arn't able to see well
