I'm suffering from the nightmare of owning a leaking Clio (V Reg, 1.4 rn). After months of speculation we are all at a loss as to where the water is coming from??...... because it's not coming from the door seals, arial, sunroof, glass on sunroof or windscreen. The water is coming above the passenger+drivers side doors, the interior light and dripping down into the passenger foot well.

I had a leak above the driver and passenger seats in my renault clio and i found it to be the front windscreen.

The water was getting in when i was both stationary and on the move.

At the top corners of the windscreen there are 2 L shaped covers which seal each corner - For me this is where the water was getting in.

I just decided to seal as much of the windscreen as possible with silicone and also to glue down the covers securly - Did the job for me !
