How do i check if the vehicle distance traveled is in miles or kilometers.I was told it was an import and the mileage was in kilometers???were they telling fibs.?

Oh! I forgot,if it is a Fiesta etc (ordinary little car)and the speedo goes up to over 200 or so it's defiantly in kilometers.

Basic maths really,if you are used to miles and not kilometers it is in your favour,a kilometer is approx 0.62 of a mile,on a British car you would do 1000miles but if it's in kilometers it has done 620miles or near enough,so it might look high mileage i.e 100,000 kilometers but it is really only 62,000 miles,divide Mileage by 0.62.
