Timing belt change on Audi?

Instructions on how to change timing belt on 1990 Audi 80 2.0 SE Petrol
Michael, October 2008
Hi Michael,
This may not be the answer you're looking for.But unless you are 100% sure what you are doing, this is a job for a professional. The timing belt and tensioners on any car is a major component and not just like replacing a fan belt.Get it wrong and you'll be looking at an engine re build costing you Hundreds!!.I'm handy around cars, but it's a job I wouldn't tackle. If cost is an issue, try buying the parts from any auto spares, and see if you can get a mechanic to fit on his day off "Cash in hand" :-)
