i need to know how to remove the old one and get the new one in, it doesn't look like it will fit in the hole!

hi thanks for that advice i shall make sure i disconnect the battery while i work on it.

i thought that the old one would just slide out and the new one slide in, but the new one has some large part sticking out of the side of it that obviously won't slide in from the front, and it also has a large orange lip at the front that looks like it wont go in from the back either.

im struggling to get the old one out as im guessing it also has the large part sticking out of the side of it that wont fit sliding it out of the front. really need a away of getting in behind it all i guess but dont fancy taking the whole dash out to do it.

The Live 12V wire is unswitched - isolate it else you may have a surprise when it touches something. These things are all a standard size - so I believe. Does the construction of the new one not give you a clue how to remove the old?
