Brake pads fitted and ABS lights are not related. The abs sensor is not on the brake pads it is usally the ring on the hub or the abs sensor or the wiring that is at fault. If the warning light is like this (0) it maybe the pad sensor!

Take it back to the people that did the work,be polite and explain to them that it wasn't like that when you took it in.The problem is related.
